Edouard Delpero of France Sunday as the Taiwan Open World Longboard Championship (WLC) concluded at Jinzun Harbour in Taitung County, southeastern Taiwan.

“This doesn’t feel real at the moment, I’m totally tripping out on this,” Jensen was quoted as saying in press release issued by the World Surf League (WSL), the chief organizer of the 8-day event.

Jensen was previously eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Taiwan Open WLC event earlier in the week.

But when Delpero of France beat Brazilian Phil Rajzman in the final of the Taiwan Open earlier Sunday, he joined Jensen at the top of the rankings, meaning that the event needed to run one more round to decide the 2017 World Longboard Champion.    [FULL  STORY]
