Taipei, Dec. 4 (CNA) Temperatures will rise during the day Friday after a chilly morning but the weather is expected to turn cool and wet again Sunday, according to the Central Weather Bureau.

The northeastern seasonal winds that have been affecting northern and eastern Taiwan since late Wednesday will give way to warmer weather later Friday, with highs of between 19 to 23 degrees Celsius in the northern and eastern parts of the island, the bureau said.

Highs in central and southern Taiwan will range between 25 and 28 degrees, it said.
