Filipino quake victim’s body to arrive home Thursday

of Melody Albano Castro, the 28-year-old Filipino caregiver killed in the recent Hualien earthquake in Taiwan, Thursday, her cousin said Tuesday.

Mishelle Pacquing Macanaya Rosales told CNA Tuesday that her cousin’s body is scheduled to arrive in Tuguegarao City, the capital of the province of Cagayan in the northeastern part of Luzon Island, Thursday on a flight that will depart from Taiwan Wednesday morning and make an overnight stopover in Manila.

From Tuguegarao City, it will take another two to three hours for Castro’s body to reach home that afternoon, she added.    [FULL  STORY]
