TAIPEI, Taiwan — To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Grand Hyatt Taipei

and the start of the Christmas season, for the first time Grand Hyatt Taipei hosted its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony outside, at the hotel’s exterior fountain yesterday evening.

This year Grand Hyatt Taipei presents a brand new tree with a “loving is giving” theme. The 6-meter tree was built with gift boxes and LED lights in the hotel’s brand colors of white and red, a perfect combination for the festive season, the hotel said.

Every year, Grand Hyatt Taipei’s Christmas tree draws a lot of attention when guests enter the lobby. However, for the first time in 25 years, the hotel is showcasing its Christmas tree outside of the hotel, adding an extra boost of delight to the hotel’s front entrance on SongShou Road, and allowing the public to experience a touch of Christmas ambience when they walk past. Moreover, to add a more festive atmosphere, a Santa Claus with a sleigh and reindeers will be placed alongside the tree, the hotel stated.     [FULL  STORY]
