where he was quoted reflecting on the standard of Taiwanese citizens during a post-speech interview.

The mayor was invited to the university to deliver a speech as part of the university’s “My Future is Not a Dream” discussion forum. Ko’s speech, which was centered around his municipal policies and his first 100 days in office, shared with faculty and students the challenges and potentials he has since realized after becoming mayor of Taipei.

During his time behind the podium, Ko mentioned that the process of initiating and progressing a policy needs to include respect toward professionals of all works.     [FULL  STORY]
