TAIPEI, Taiwan — A businessman has been convicted of fraud charges and sentenced to two years in prison for selling repackaged yogurt products that had passed their sell-by dates, high court officials in Taipei said.
The high court returned a final verdict, finding Huang Chieh-ta guilty of 882 counts of fraud and giving him prison terms adding up to two years, the officials said, adding he could pay a fine in lieu of imprisonment, according to a CNA report. [FULL STORY]
