TAIPEI–The water level of a major reservoir in Northern Taiwan stabilized Monday in the wake of much welcomed rainfall after steady declines the previous week, the Water Resources Agency (WRA, 水資源局) said.
As of 6 p.m., Shihmen Reservoir’s water level was 217.25 meters, or about 20.13 percent of capacity, down only marginally from a level of 217.31 meters, or 20.23 percent of capacity, on Sunday night at 11 p.m., according to WRA figures. [FULL STORY]
