incident in southern Chiayi County this Tuesday, in which one victim was killed and another injured, committed suicide in Kaohsiung yesterday.

The suspect, Yang Ying-chan (楊英展), was found dead at the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Center in Kaohsiung’s Dashu District (大樹區) around 3 p.m. yesterday, according to Kaohsiung police.

Initial investigations suggested that Yang, 33, allegedly killed himself by shooting himself in the head with a pistol, due to police finding the weapon and a suicide note as well as a piece of ID belonging to Yang at the scene.     [FULL
