Taiwanese ‘Street Fighter’ finishes second in U.S. tournament

finished second on Monday in the NorCal Regionals 2015 tournament for Ultra Street Fighter 4, the latest iteration of the classic video game launched in 1987.

On his runner-up finish in the Northern California premier fighting game tournament, Hsiang said he barely made it into the tournament’s Sweet 16 after suffering two consecutive defeats.

But he was able to will himself into the event’s grand final at the last minute as his pride in his skills as a “Street Fighter” kicked in, he said.     [FULL  STORY]
