TAIPEI, Taiwan — In an effort to promote cost efficient and convenient bus routes, Taiwan’s tourism bureau recently announced the winners of a contest of Taiwan Tourist Shuttle route design.
The competition, sponsored by Taiwan’s Tourism Bureau (under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications) and organized by TAIYI Advertising, Inc. encouraged young people to propose new routes for the bureau’s existing Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Service while using their creativity and vision to design exciting and memorable tour packages.
The shuttle service, which has been in operation for six years, has 39 individual routes, with 80 specialized tour options, having served approximately 1.15 million passengers. [FULL STORY]
