competitive events at the 2017 Summer Universiade in Taipei have already been sold, the organizing committee said Thursday.

Rollerblading, badminton, diving and fencing are among the most popular sports and tickets have already sold out, the committee said during a press conference held at the Universiade media center in Taipei.

Tickets to weightlifting and gymnastics are also almost sold out, it added.

According to the committee, tickets to basketball, baseball and volleyball account for a majority of the 320,000 tickets currently sold.    [FULL  STORY]
