TAIPEI, Taiwan — The Taiwan Water Corporation recently announced that certain designated areas in New Taipei City and Taoyuan City will be subjected to phase-three water rationing starting April 1.
The announcement was made after the Drought Response Center decided to find solutions to the immediate threat posed by the drought.
The conclusion of the meeting declared that the entirety of Taoyuan City, and the Banqiao, Xinzhuang and Linkou Districts in New Taipei City will have their water supply temporarily suspended for two days per week. [FULL STORY]
