35 golds for Taiwan at Warsaw invention show

well as eight special prizes, at the 2015 International Warsaw Invention Show, making the country the second-biggest winner after the host country Poland, the Taipei-based Chinese Innovation and Invention Society said Thursday.

A total of 425 submissions from 25 countries, including 82 from Taiwan, were entered in the Oct. 12-14 show, according to the society.

Among Taiwan’s top winners is a group from Kaohsiung’s Cheng Shiu University, which has designed a modular “air bag” system that can prevent ships from sinking.
