Taipei, Nov. 11 (CNA) Taiwanese computer maker Acer Inc. (宏碁) said Wednesday that
Oliver Ahrens, senior corporate vice president and president of the company’s pan-Asia operations, has decided to leave the company.
Jason Chen (陳俊聖), Acer’s corporate president and chief executive officer, will replace Ahrens as head of the firm’s pan-Asia operations, effective immediately, Acer said in an e-mailed statement.
“Acer would like to thank Mr. Ahrens for more than two decades of service and respects his decision to leave Acer,” the company said without elaborating.
Ahrens left Acer after 24 years of contributing in various regional operations of the company since joining in October 1991. [FULL STORY]
