Head of Samsung Taiwan’s mobile business calls it quits

TAIPEI–The head of Samsung Electronics Co.’s information technology and mobile businesses in Taiwan has resigned citing “personal reasons,” weeks after the South Korean firm launched its newest flagship S6 and S6 edge phones in the country.

Andy Tu (杜偉昱) who joined Samsung Taiwan in October 2009, will stay in the company until late May to complete work related to rolling out the S6 series phones, Samsung Taiwan said in a statement released Tuesday.      [FULL  STORY]
