As of 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Nesat was located approximately 890 kilometers southeast of Taiwan’s southern tip and was moving north northwest at 14 kilometers per hour, CWB data showed.

The storm was carrying maximum sustained winds of 90 km per hour, with gusts of up to 118 km/h and was shifting to a northwest track as it moved closer to Taiwan’s Green Island, the CWB indicated.   [FULL  STORY]
