U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, and the leaders of several other countries during the inauguration ceremony of the expanded Panama Canal on Sunday, according to Presidential Office spokesman Alex Huang (黃重諺).

Tsai, who is on her first overseas trip as president, also exchanged greetings with several other dignitaries at the ceremony, including Paraguay President Horacio Cartes, Dominican Republic President Danilo Medina, Chile President Michelle Bachelet, and Eto Seishiro, vice chairman of the Japan-Republic of China (ROC) Diet Members’ Consultative Council.     [FULL  STORY]
