Taipei, Oct. 22 (CNA) Taiwan’s unemployment in September fell slightly to 3.89 percent, the lowest level for the month in 15 years, according to government statistics released Thursday.

The average jobless rate for the first 9 months of this year — 3.74 percent — is also the lowest since 2000, the statistics showed.
