Taipei, Oct. 12 (CNA) Taiwanese taekwondo athlete Lee Meng-en (李孟恩) had to settle 
for a silver medal in the men’s 73 kilogram gold medal contest at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Thursday.
Lee, who beat Ethan McClymont of Canada 15-7 and Jakub Sadurski of Poland 10-2 to reach the final on the same day, failed to extend his winning streak, losing to Mohammadali Khosravi of Iran 1-2.
The third Summer Youth Olympic Games, also called Buenos Aires 2018, is being held from Oct. 6-18 in the Argentine capital, with 4,000 athletes aged 15-18 from 206 countries and areas competing in 32 events. [FULL STORY]
