Taiwan U18 team wins inline hockey event at Korean competition

Taipei, April 26 (CNA) A team from Taiwan defeated its Korean opponent 13-0 201504260009t0001on Sunday to win the under-18 inline hockey junior title at the 2015 Namwon Korea Open.

The Taiwanese team won a prize of 600,000 South Korean won (US$540) for the victory, according to the Korea Roller Sports Federation, one of the competition’s organizers.

Entering its eighth year, the Namwon Korea Open is being held from Saturday to May 1, with more than 800 competitors from 23 countries and regions participating in three major events — speed skating, freestyle skating and inline hockey.     [FULL  STORY]
