Taipei, July 27 (CNA) The first of two teams that will represent the LMS region (composed of 201507270006t0001the top teams in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau) in the 2015 League of Legends (英雄聯盟) World Championships this October has been confirmed.

At the grand finals on Sunday evening, AHQ e-Sports Club (AHQ), one of the top League of Legends teams in Taiwan, continued its dominance at League of Legends Master Series (LMS) through the entire Summer Split regular season, punching their ticket to the 2015 World Championships after its 3-0 victory over HongKong eSports (HKE).

Although it took down HKE relatively unscathed, AHQ’s path to victory was not a bed of roses.

Throughout the three games, despite its gold lead acquired in the early game mainly achieved by destroying more turrets, AHQ was punished by HKE for many of its mistakes, including AHQ’s loss of several lives at the Baron pit in games one and three, which enabled HKE to narrow the deficit and even gain the upper hand for some time.      [FULL  STORY]
