Taipei, March 10 (CNA) Taiwan tennis ace Hsieh Su-wei (謝淑薇) was chosen Breakthrough of the Month

in February by fans, the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) posted on its official website March 9.
WTA commended Hsieh for “reaching the biggest semifinal of her career in Dubai, as she scored a series of impressive victories in the singles draw, and later won the doubles title alongside Barbora Strycova.”
Five players are selected by wtatennis.com every month and the winner is then determined by fan voting, according to WTA.
“It’s always good to see more different styles of play on the tour because they give more fun. When we play against them, we feel more fun,” Hsieh said in an interview posted on the website. [FULL STORY]
