Taiwan’s Hsieh Su-wei crashed out of the quarter-finals after a rain-interrupted match at the WTA 125K tournament in Hua Hin, Thailand, yesterday.
World No. 107 Hsieh fell to a 6-3, 6-2 defeat to 114th-ranked Wang Qiang of China on Court 2 at the Hua Hin Centennial Club in just 65 minutes, although the players came off court during the first set due to rain.
Wang saved one of three break points and converted six of 10, winning 68 of the 110 points contested to oust the Taiwanese and improve her career record against Hsieh to 2-1. [FULL STORY]
