the final round of the 2015 Cambia Portland Classic on Sunday to finish the event tied for second at 13 under par, eight shots behind runaway winner Brooke Henderson.

It was the 34-year-old veteran’s best finish in an LPGA Tour event since taking second at the Sybase Match Play Championship in May 2012, and her best finish in a stroke play event since finishing second at the U.S. Women’s Open in July 2009.

The steady Kung bogied the par-4 third before recovering with birdies on the par-5 fifth and par-4 ninth and 15th holes to end up in a tie with Pornanong Phatlum of Thailand and Ha Na Jung of South Korea and earn US$89,641 in prize money.     [FULL  STORY]
