Taiwan’s Kung takes lead at Canadian Pacific Women’s Open

8-under 64 to take the second-round lead in the Canadian Pacific Women’s Open in Vancouver Friday.

The 34-year-old finished the round with an 11-under 133 and was two shots clear of her closest competitors, Lydia Ko and Karine Icher.

Kung picked up six birdies and an eagle in the second round.

Kung finished last week the 2015 Cambia Portland Classic tied for second at 13 under par, her best finish in an LPGA Tour event since taking second at the Sybase Match Play Championship in May 2012 and her best finish in a stroke play event since finishing second at the U.S. Women’s Open in July 2009.     [FULL  STORY]
