Taipei, May 13 (CNA) Taiwanese tennis player Lu Yen-hsun (盧彥勳) on Wednesday celebrates his 300 win on the ATP Challenger Tour by beating Jarmere Jenkins of the United States 6-2, 4-6, 6-2, to reach the quarterfinals at the Seoul Challenger.
It took 96 minutes for the top-seeded Lu to defeat his 24-year-old unseeded opponent.
For Lu, who is ranked No. 65 in the world, it was his 300th win on the ATP Challenger Tour. He was invited to a celebration at the center court, where event organizers and the South Korean tennis association presented him with a cake.
On Friday, Lu will come up against Wu Di of China, who beat Canadian Philip Bester on Wednesday.
