Taipei, June 12 (CNA) Taiwan’s top tennis player Lu Yen-hsun (盧彥勳) is to vie for the title of ATP

Surbiton Challenger being held in the British city of Surbiton on Sunday (UK time).

Lu came from behind to defeat Jordan Thompson of Australia 6-7 (5), 6-3 and 7-6 (4) at a semifinal of the tournament on Saturday. He will take on Marius Copil from Romania in the final.

Copil beat Bjorn Fratengelo from the United States in two straight sets 6-3 and 6-4 at the other match of the semifinals played on the same day.

This is the second consecutive week that Lu have advanced to the final of an ATP challenger grass-court tour event. He was defeated by Dustin Brown of Germany in the final of Manchester Challenger on June 5 in two straight sets 7-6 (5) and 6-1.     [FULL  STORY]
