TAIPEI, Taiwan — Ten companies involved in mislabeling Japanese food products were searched by investigators and the owners were questioned by prosecutors last night to find out whether they altered the labels illegally.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA, 食藥署) confirmed yesterday that 401 items that were thought to be tainted have passed radiation tests, yet the goods have been pulled from shelves as they still originate from irradiated areas in Japan. [FULL STORY]
