Taipei, Sept. 11 (CNA) Three new stations on Taiwan’s high-speed rail line will soon undergo on-site inspections and are expected to be opened on Dec. 1, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) said Friday.
Yang Cheng-chun (楊正君), a section chief with the MOTC’s Bureau of High Speed Rail, confirmed that the agency has received an application for on-site inspections of the three new stations — located in Miaoli, Changhua and Yunlin counties.
It will begin to review written materials next week and arrange for a two-day inspection visit in early October. [FULL STORY]
