Taipei, June 2 (CNA) Charles Rivkin, U.S. assistant secretary of state for economic and business affairs, encouraged young Taiwanese entrepreneurs Tuesday to embrace risk-taking and not to be afraid of failure.
Speaking during the opening of a workshop in Taipei, Rivkin, a former businessman, cited his previous experience in the entertainment industry to participants in the Future City Workshop.
The five-day workshop, organized by Taiwan’s ministries of economic affairs and education, and was being attended by young Taiwanese adults and students who held discussions with instructors from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. [FULL STORY]
