UNIVERSIADE: Taiwan wins gold, silver medals in Taekwondo

Taipei, Aug. 21 (CNA) Taiwan’s Taekwondo athletes brought home a gold medal

Li Cheng-gang (李晟綱, left) and Su Chia-en (蘇佳恩)

and two silver medals in various poomsae events at the 2017 Taipei Universiade on Monday.

The gold medal was won by Li Cheng-gang (李晟綱) and Su Chia-en (蘇佳恩) in the mixed pair category, with a final score of 7.853.

In the men’s team category, Chang Wei-chieh (張惟傑), Hsieh Ming-yang (謝明揚) and Huang Chia-jung (黃佳蓉) garnered a silver medal with a final score of 7.587.

The other silver medal was won by Chen Hsiang-ting (陳湘婷), Chen Yi-hsuan (陳以瑄) and Lee Ying-hsian (李映萱) in the women’s team category, with a final score of 7.680.    [FULL  STORY]
