Taipei, Oct. 9 (CNA) Taiwanese golfer Yani Tseng (曾雅妮) recovered from a
terrible start in the second round of the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur on Friday to shoot a 3-under 68 and end the day tied for third in the US$2 million tournament.
Tseng was tied with Inbee Park of South Korea and Alison Lee of the United States at 8-under 134, two shots behind the leader Ha Na Jang of South Korea and one behind Lin Xiyu of China.
On a day full of low scores Friday, the former world No. 1 bogeyed two of her first three holes, when by her own account her tempo was a little off, but recovered with birdies on the sixth, eighth and 12th holes to get back in the hunt before bogeying the par-4 14th. [FULL STORY]
