Professional Baseball League playoffs in Taichung on Saturday.

Thirty-eight-year-old Brothers batter Peng Cheng-min, playing in his 47th playoff game, put in an impressive performance, making three hits in front of 20,000 fans at a packed Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium.

Peng holds the playoff appearance record among active players in Taiwan’s pro-baseball league, ranking third in the all-time list behind Chang Tai-shan (66 games) and Yeh Chun-chang (52 games).

The Brothers opened their account with a run in the second inning and had taken a 6-1 lead after the first six.

The Brothers scored two more runs in the seventh inning and looked set for a comfortable win, only for the Rhinos to pull back six runs in the eighth inning.     [FULL  STORY]
