Gaming contest in India boosts Taiwan product visibility

The finals of the third Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup have kicked off in Mumbai, India, as part of Taiwan’s efforts to boost the visibility of Made-in-Taiwan high-tech products in the Indian market.

The two-day gaming competition continued into Saturday after a total of 378 teams competed with one another in the preliminary contests in six Indian cities in recent months.

The number of participating teams this year increased 86 percent from a year earlier, according to the organizer Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).
