Indonesian, Thai and Cambodian languages has been extended since May 1, the National Immigration Agency (NIA) said Wednesday.

The hotline, which serves new immigrants and other foreigners in Taiwan, is now in operation for eight hours a day instead of four, the NIA said.

The service hours have been changed from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in an effort to better assist new immigrants in Taiwan, the NIA said.

Previously, only the services in Vietnamese were offered for eight hours a day from Monday to Friday, but now the same goes for the Indonesian, Thai and Cambodian language services, the agency said.    [FULL  STORY]
