Tsai reminds members of the public to practice good hygiene on social media

President Tsai Ing-wen called on the public to remain calm and vigilant in the face of the recent novel coronavirus outbreak, which originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan. Tsai was speaking  in Central Taiwan’s Nantou County during a Lunar New Year event on Monday morning.
