Bangkok, May 23 (CNA) Taiwanese athletes bagged 6 gold, 7 silver and 2 bronze medals
to rank second in overall medal haul at the Asian Youth Athletics Championships that ended in Bangkok on Tuesday.
On the final day, Hsiang Chia-li (向嘉莉) grabbed a gold in the girls’ heptathlon with a total score of 4,985 points.
Lu Hao-hua (盧浩華) won a gold in the boys’ 110-meter hurdles and Lin Ting-wei (林庭瑋) earned a gold in the girls’ 100m hurdles.
Yang Po-en (陽伯恩) won the boy’s shot put and Wu Wei-chiao (鄔惟喬) outshone her rivals in the girls’ 5,000m walk. [FULL STORY]
