Taipei, July 24 (CNA) Chinese Taipei beat Japan 3-1 to win the championship Sunday in the final of the AVC (Asian Volleyball Championship) Eastern Zone Women’s Championship 2016 in China.
19 and 25-23 to snatch the gold in Zhangjiagang City in Jiangsu Province.
Eight teams took part in the six-day event that started July 19.
China, Japan, South Korea and Chinese Taipei secured their semi-final berths at the contest on Friday.
The other four teams are Hong Kong, Macau, Mongolia and North Korea. [SOURCE]
