Taiwan’s Tai Tzu-ying advances to Indonesia Masters quarterfinals

through to the quarterfinals of the 2018 Indonesia Masters on Thursday with an easy win over her compatriot Lee Chia-hsin (李佳馨).

Tsai, the world’s No. 1 in women’s singles, won the match in 22 minutes, finishing 21-14, 21-13.

The two players seemed equally matched at the start, with Tai leading by only a couple of points and Lee playing to a 4-4 tie.

However, Tai soon picked up her game and maintained the lead all the way to the end of the first set.

In the second set, Tai really showed off her skills, scoring five straight points and making it impossible for Lee to catch up.    [FULL  STORY]
