Taiwan’s Yang Chun-han wins Asian Junior 200-meter heat

Ho Chi Minh City, June 6 (CNA) Taiwanese athlete Yang Chun-han (楊俊瀚) won the 200-meter heat in 20.73 seconds on Monday at the Asian Junior Athletics Championship 2016 being held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

It was the second gold medal Yang has grabbed at the championships that opened June 3 in the southern Vietnamese city and runs through Monday.

On the same day, Li Yu-chieh (林玉婕) finished on the third place in women’s 400-meter hurdles in 60.02 seconds, clinching one more bronze medal for Taiwan.

Teaming up with Yeh Shou-bo (葉守博), Liu Chao-hsuan (劉兆軒) and Shen Yu-sen (沈郁森), Yang won his first gold medal at the Asian youth athletic tournament in the men’s 4x100m relay in 39.75 seconds Sunday.     [FULL  STORY]
