U.S. dollar closes higher on Taipei forex market

Taipei, Jan. 17 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Thursday, gaining NT$0.021 to close at NT$30.852.

Turnover totaled US$591 million during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$30.839, and moved between NT$30.813 and NT$30.853 before the close.     [SOURCE]
