U.S. dollar closes lower on Taipei forex

Taipei, July 31 (CNA) The U.S. dollar dropped against the Taiwan dollar Monday, shedding NT$0.075 to close at NT$30.227.

Turnover totaled US$554 million during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$30.295, and moved between NT$30.188 and NT$30.302 before the close.
