Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, Taiwan’s largest gateway, is introducing a day-care center in Terminal 1. This makes it the first airport in Taiwan with a dedicated childcare facility.
The head of the airport’s HR department said the goal of the day-care center is to make life easier for staff.
Currently in its planning phase, the day-care center will be able to accommodate up to 30 toddlers. Its operation will be outsourced to industry professionals who will hire licensed nannies. Airport staff will enjoy priority in enrollment. Remaining places will be opened to the staff of other companies.
