Taipei, Feb. 25 (CNA) Formosa Petrochemical Corp. (台塑石化), a privately owned fuel supplier, said Saturday that it will raise its gasoline and diesel prices for next week after an increase in international crude oil prices this week.
Concerns over a supply glut were eased to push up crude oil prices, which prompted Formosa Petrochemical to raise fuel prices by NT$0.1 (US$0.003) per liter for next week, stopping a two price falling week streak.
This week, Formosa Petrochemical cut gasoline and diesel prices by NT$0.1 per liter.
After the latest adjustments, fuel prices at Formosa Petrochemical gas stations islandwide will rise to NT$22.3 per liter for super diesel, NT$24.8 per liter for 92 octane unleaded, NT$26.3 per liter for 95 unleaded and NT$28.6 per liter for 98 unleaded, effective at 1 a.m. Monday. [FULL STORY]
