Taipei, Aug. 12 (CNA) Formosa Petrochemical Corp. (台塑石化), a privately owned
gasoline supplier, said Saturday that it has decided not to adjust its gasoline and diesel prices next week, snapping a three-week fuel price hike streak.
Fuel prices at Formosa Petrochemical gas stations islandwide will remain next week at NT$21.2 per liter for super diesel, NT$23.9 per liter for 92 octane unleaded, NT$25.3 per liter for 95 unleaded and NT$27.4 per liter for 98 unleaded, the company said.
The company’s major competitor, state-owned CPC Corp., Taiwan (中油), is also expected to maintain its current fuel prices when it makes its price announcement at noon Sunday, market sources said. [SOURCE]
