Manila, July 10 (CNA) Taiwan was the third-largest source of foreign visitors to the
Philippine resort of Boracay in the first six months of this year, with Taiwanese tourists making 25,067 visits.
In the January-June period, South Koreans were the biggest source of foreign arrivals, accounting for 175,470 visits, followed by Chinese who made 174,064 visits.
The three biggest sources accounted for 76 percent of the total foreign arrivals at 495,436.
Filipinos made 584,753 visits to the resort island during the six-month period.
