29th Summer Universiade Games in Taipei while simultaneously breaking the world record, is set to appear on the cover of the 142nd edition of the World Weightlifting Magazine.

The cover photo which has appeared on the 142nd edition of the World Weightlifting Magazine, issued by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF), is the close-up taken after she had won gold at the Summer Universiade Games earlier this year.

Below the photo reads, “Kuo Hsing-Chun, TPE, 142kg, Clean and Jerk in 58kg: The year’s first and so far only women’s world record was set by the local favorite at the Taipei2017 Universiade.”

The 2017 Weightlifting World Championships will take place in Anaheim, U.S. from the 28th of November to the 5th of December. Team Taiwan will consist of seven female athletes and five male athletes, including Kuo Hsingchun and Hsu Shuching, lead by coach Tsai Wenyi.    [FULL  STORY]
