2020 Elections: KMT names 34 legislator-at-large nominees

Taipei, Nov. 13 (CNA) The main opposition Kuomintang announced its nominees for at-large

legislative seats Wednesday, with former Central Police University Professor Yeh Yu-lan (葉毓蘭) topping the list of 34 names.

The second name on the list was KMT legislative caucus whip and former Financial Supervisory Commission Chairman Tseng Ming-chung (曾銘宗), while KMT Chairman Wu Den-yih (吳敦義) was listed in 10th place, former lawmaker Chiu Yi (邱毅) eighth, and KMT Tainan chapter director Hsieh Lung-chieh (謝龍介) 11th.

Also in the top 10 were former lawmaker Lee Kuei-min (李貴敏); retired Lt. Gen. Wu Sz-huai (吳斯懷); former lawmaker Cheng Li-wun (鄭麗文); Lin Wen-jui (林文瑞), the head of Taiwan Joint Irrigation Association, ROC; Li Yu-chan (李玉嬋), a professor at National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Science; and head of the KMT Pingtung County chapter, Liao Wan-ju (廖婉汝).

Other nominees included former KMT lawmaker Wong Chung-chun (翁重鈞), former Presidential Office spokesman Charles Chen (陳以信), Central Standing Committee member Lee Teh-wei (李德維) and Taiwan Labor Welfare Alliance convener Wang Yu-wen (王裕文).    [FULL  STORY]
