Taipei, May 6 (CNA) Up to 2,300 students in 56 examination venues were affected

by power outage in Taoyuan’s Bade District during the second day of the Technological and Vocational Education Joint College Entrance Examination Sunday, a Testing Center for Technological and Vocational Education official said.

Lin Shang-ping (林尚平) said the power outage occurred at 2:08 p.m. due to Taipower equipment failure.

When the power outage occurred, students were asked to continue with their examination while examination personnel maintained proper ventilation at the testing sites and opened the curtains, Lin said.    [FULL STORY]
