Yang and Japan’s Yuki Koike, who took gold, both finished in 20.23 seconds but Koike crossed the line ahead of Yang by one thousandth of a second.

Yaqoob Yaqoob of Bahrain won the bronze medal in a time of 20.55 seconds.

Meanwhile, Taiwan cyclist Huang Ting-ying (黃亭茵) also won a silver medal, placing second in the women’s omnium in track cycling with a total of 126 points.    [FULL  STORY]
